1) Introduction
Welcome to Aide DHS (“Aide”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Aide mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.
2) Eligibility
The Service is intended for individuals aged 18 and above. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
3) Account & Security
- You may need an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

4) What Aide Does (and Doesn’t Do)
- Clinic Discovery & Booking: Aide helps you discover nearby clinics and book appointments.
- Medical Disclaimer: Aide is not a healthcare provider and does not offer medical advice. Any information in the app is for convenience only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional.
- Provider Access: Doctors and authorized receptionists can access relevant information only after you make a booking with that provider.
- Location: We may use your device’s location to show nearby clinics; we do not store your location.

- Uploading or transmitting malicious code, spam, or unlawful content.
- Impersonating others or misrepresenting your affiliation.
- Scraping, harvesting, or reverse engineering the Service except as permitted by law.
6) Third-Party Services
We rely on core service providers (e.g., Supabase for authentication and OpenStreetMap for location-related functionality). Your use of third-party services may be subject to their terms. We do not sell your data or share it with outside clinics or advertisers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7) Content & Intellectual Property
- Our IP: The Service, including software, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Aide DHS or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app in accordance with these Terms.
- Your Content: You retain rights to information you submit. You grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the Service and to fulfill bookings, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
8) Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from within the app. When you do, we instantly and irreversibly delete your personal data from our production database using cascading deletes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if required by law.
9) Disclaimers
- The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
- Aide does not practice medicine and is not responsible for the quality or outcome of care provided by any clinic or doctor.

11) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aide DHS and its affiliates from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by applicable law based on your primary residence: India or the Province of Ontario (Canada).
13) Compliance
We aim to comply with the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act (2023) and Canada’s PIPEDA/PHIPA where applicable.
14) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance.
